This blog is dedicated to the musings and observations of Russell Blake, for better or worse.

That would be yours truly.

Readers are invited to chime in. The only conditions are that everyone plays together nicely, and nobody overtly touts items for commercial purposes, unless of course they are Russell Blake books, in which case you will be commended for your discerning good taste and eye for quality.

I have strong opinions on a variety of topics, and  a dim view of governments, politicians, financial institutions, the media, and other predators whose role would appear to me to be to leach value and productivity from their ecosystems at the direct expense of the productive majority. My fiction reflects my observations and beliefs about reality, and I generally view my plots as classic good versus evil battles set in modern context. I love writing, and genuinely hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy producing it. I’ve always been a huge fan of fast-paced thrillers that feature intrigue and complex plot lines, usually linked to some sort of conspiracy theory. I made a decision when I first took up fiction to write for myself, as opposed to some hypothetical imagined reader, or a publishing industry that seems badly out of touch with my tastes. Maybe you’ll find my efforts appealing. If so, spread the word, and stay tuned for more. I have a number of tomes in the pipeline, so check back early and often.
