Woohoo!!!

Finally, the seventh installment in the JET saga is live. JET – Sanctuary has launched into the world, for better or for worse.

*****

NEWS: Forbes mentioned me as an example of indies changing the playing field. Great article!

MORE NEWS: A wonderful article on why everyone must read JET now, dammit.

*****

I’m really pleased with both JET VI and VII. I wanted to pick up the story right where we left off in JET VI, with the entire book taking place over a span of hours. The compressed timeline really forced me to move it along, and there was no fat on the bone by the time I was done.

The next JET will probably hit around November or December, so until then, enjoy this one. It’s a fun read, with villainous bad guys, conflicted allies, and more action than you can shake a stick at.

That’s all I have. I’m writing away, as always (maybe next year is the one I slow down…), and hope to have some exciting news soon. Until then, enjoy your summer and don’t do anything I wouldn’t…

Hey, sent you a PM on Kboards but maybe this’ll be faster. The cover of Thank God it’s Monday looks like the chick from your German/American Jet cover. Same action but in a red dress.

Feel free to delete this if it’s wrong/inappropriate.

It probably is. The curse of stock photography. But I’m pretty sure I use different combinations of words in my book than that one does.

Congrats, Russ. Your hard work continues to pay dividends.

I channeled you and your rage and indignation in a blog post today on self publishing and writers earning (or not earning) money. Thanks for the inspiration.

Dude, slow down! I’ve never gonna get caught up on Jet at this pace.

Seriously, looking forward to grabbing this when I get some cash next month and buy most of your books I don’t have lol.

    Dear Russell,
Two weeks ago while on Amazon Prime I ran across your first Book of the Jet Series.
I was hooked. I have just ordered #5 Jet Legacy.
I truly love this series, full of action and excitement at every turn. The stories are just full of action that it is hard for me to stop reading them.
I download them to my kindle fire and take them with me while on the go.
I am glad that they are full of action and not all the sex that AI found in other novels. It is truly refreshing to read.
I was a big fan of all the Tom Clancy novels of past years but grew tired of his style.
Keep up the good work, and now that I have your web site will stay up with some of your other novels. If they are like this Jet series I will not have enough money saved to read them all.
    Thanks,
    Jim

Thanks for the high praise. You’ll be running short of money, then, because if you like JET, you’ll probably love the Assassin novels, and all the rest.

Why books take so long to get to nook

Smashwords distributes them to B&N. That’s just how long they take. Beats me why.

I can’t wait for JET 8,9,10,11…100! I feel like I know JET and I LOVE her! She’s a total bad-@$$. I have lived in Trinidad so I could visualize those scenes. That’s what hooked me. And I totally cried when certain characters died. I read all 9 books in like a week. A bit excessive but when you’re on sick leave confined to the house, JET kept me company. What also makes these an easy read are your descriptions that are both vivid and witty at the same time. I love the wit. Keep it coming. Its much more fun to say a dress looked like it was stitched together by sadistic blind men with tremors than to say simply that it was ugly!

Russell, thank you for the many hours of pleasure reading–I have read everything you have written and you just seem to get better. One of the few writers who can thrill, dazzle with prose and tell the truth about global politics. I’m hooked!

Russell- I just finished JET-Sanctuary, and having read all of the others (in order, actually started with the prequel!), I’m more than ready for the next! Are you planning on continuing the JET series? Please please please say “yes!”!!! My husband and I both love them, and are dying for more (though maybe that’s the wrong term to use…). We’ve both also read all of the Jack Reacher (Lee Child) series, and think it would be really wild to have Reacher and Jet team up. Watch out villains!
